text version

How to Get Involved

If you would like to get involved in one of the studies as a (co-)author or peer reviewer(or suggest someone for this job) we would like to hear from you by 4 June 2001. We will select the study teams during the following week.

Please do not forward detailed proposals!

We ask you to send us an informal note indicating your interest in two parts:

The first part (of not more than 1 page) will be shared as a contribution on the website. We are trying to ensure that the thinking you put into an application is of direct benefit to others and contributes to the discussion. This first part should thus contain your views on the substance covered by the respective terms of reference and a sketch of issues that you think need to addressed in the specific study.

The second part (of not more than 1 page) will not be shared. It would explain how you intend to go about carrying out the study between now and November 2001, what approach you would take and what resources would be required. Please attach your cv, and/or information on your institution.

Please note that the budget for the studies is envisaged at a maximum of USD 25,000.- each with some space for negotiation if justified (for instance to facilitate work in another language and translations)

Please send your message to:
